Adrian Russell is a construction project manager, inspirational speaker, mentor, musician, and visionary. Adrian currently serves as a Project Manager with Mattcon General Contractors in Indianapolis, Indiana and has overseen numerous projects across the United States. A product of Indianapolis Public Schools, Adrian attended Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, earning a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management degree.

Adrian takes great pride in mentoring the next generation of youth and compelling them to realize their full potential in areas they may have never thought possible. He is heavily involved in the ACE Mentor Program of America – a national mentoring program with a focus on inspiring high school students to pursue careers within the architecture, construction, and engineering industries. As an executive board member, Adrian chairs the ACE Ambassador Committee for his local Indiana chapter; actively engaging ACE alumni and encouraging their continued progression within the program from students, to professionals, and beyond.  Also serving as spokesperson at the local and national level, Adrian puts great effort in sowing into the lives of young people through the program of which he holds dear, and that was also instrumental in first introducing him to the industry.

Many of Adrian’s speaking points are informed by unique experiences and lessons learned along his journey from a ten-member household, impoverished and in the inner city, to a successful career within the building-design profession. He passionately compels audiences to dream big, believe, climb mountains, never quit, and give back.

Adrian is driven to inspire, motivate, and leave a lasting legacy on the lives of many, particularly young people, just as his own mentors have for him. He is also a dad to his beautiful seven-year-old daughter, Ava, and a minister, having served the community through his local church for many years. In his spare time, Adrian most enjoys reading, writing, vision planning, fitness, home renovation projects, and above all things – his amazing family.
