Adrian Russell is a construction industry ambassador, mentor, and visionary. He currently serves as the Director of Diversity & Procurement for Shiel Sexton in Indianapolis, Indiana. With more than a decade of experience as a project manager traveling across the country, Adrian has distinguished himself as a leading voice in the industry—championing opportunities for people from all walks of life to pursue long, rewarding careers in construction.

Adrian was inducted into the Indianapolis Public Schools Hall of Fame in 2023 and was recognized as a member of the Indianapolis Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2021. He has also been named Diverse Executive of the Year by the Indiana Construction Roundtable, Graduate of the Last Decade by Ball State University’s College of Architecture and Planning, and Indy’s Best and Brightest in Real Estate and Construction by Junior Achievement of Central Indiana, among numerous other distinctions.

Dedicated to investing in the next generation, Adrian is especially passionate about inspiring young people through the award-winning Russell’s Building Camp, which introduces students from diverse backgrounds to the world of construction and empowers them to build a better future for themselves and their communities.
